On Sunday, October 18, 2026, I had the opportunity to capture moments from the Making Strides of Newark Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at Mulberry Commons in Newark, NJ. It was great to see people come together to support a cause that has touched so many lives.

From the pink shirts to the groups walking together, the day was a reminder of the importance of community, support, and standing with those affected by breast cancer.

Making Strides is about more than taking steps. It's about honoring survivors, remembering loved ones, supporting families, and bringing attention to the ongoing fight against breast cancer.

I always appreciate the opportunity to document events like this in my own community. There are so many stories behind the people who show up, and photography gives us a way to hold on to some of those moments.

I'm thankful to everyone who came out, participated, and showed their support. The energy and commitment of the community are what make events like this meaningful.

Check out the highlights from the 2026 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Newark, NJ, in the gallery below. If you spot yourself, your family, or your team, feel free to share the gallery!
